About Dss Gbada

Day Secondary School Gbada, Gidan Mongoro, Minna is one of the great Schools around Minna. The community is located along Minna-Bida road after NECO Headquarters which got her name "Gidan Mongoro" due to the presence of abundance of Mango trees in the area.

The school was established by the state government in September 2006 and situated between Gidan Mongoro and Gbada communities pioneered by Mr. Abdullah Dadah Ahmed (the Principal), Mal. Abdullahi Zabo (V.P.) and Mr. Joshua Aliyu (the Senior Master) Uncle Ezekiel Abu (Labour Master), H.O.D Science, H.O.D Art, Uncle Danjuma, Uncle Yahaya, Uncle Adamu, ~~Uncle Better~~, ~~Uncle Benjamin B. Jiya~~, Aunty Jamila, Aunty Aisha with few teachers who were mostly borrowed staff from Gbada Primary School having few students as well but today, the school can boast of not less than 40 teachers with large population of students from as far as different areas of Minna, Garatu, Dama, Gidan Kwano, and also from Kpakungu to south Area's.
